Born to travel light.
Checked bag fees are the tax you pay for not being able to compress your clothes. Airlines have worked out that most of us will hand over the money rather than repack, and they have priced it accordingly. Every trip starts with the same quiet negotiation: what do I leave behind, or what do I pay?
Stoiq exists because that trade-off is a packing problem, not a travel problem. Clothes are mostly air. Get the air out and a checked bag's worth of gear fits in a carry-on. That is the whole idea, and everything we make serves it.
The obvious way to build this is to sell you a bag and then sell you a pump. We built the pump into the bag instead. A pump you have to remember, charge, and pack is a pump you will leave at home, and a bag that needs a vacuum cleaner only compresses in places that have one. Integrating it costs us more to make and it is harder to engineer, but it is the only version that works in a hotel room at 6am.
We back every bag with a lifetime warranty. If a seam, a valve, or a pump fails, we replace it. We would rather carry that cost than build something designed to be repurchased. Questions, warranty claims, or anything else: support@stoiqstorage.com.
